The Mazak VTC 800/30 SR vertical machining centre features a high-speed 40-taper spindle, a tilting spindle head (B-axis), a full travelling column and a fixed table for machining extremely long and heavy workpieces. With an optional table partition, the long machine table can be converted into two separate work areas. The roller gear swivel head offers improved accuracy and repeatability due to its backlash-free design, which enables the machining of complex features and contours. These features provide excellent machining capacity for a wide variety of workpieces.

Thanks to the additional axis, machining processes can be significantly reduced and productivity increased. In combination with a rotary table, 5-axis simultaneous machining is possible. The machine also offers high rapid traverse speeds to reduce non-productive times.

The VTC-800/30SR is designed to meet the diverse and extensive requirements of high-performance, flexible and precise manufacturing applications in the best possible way.
